Civil Partnership Venues at The Pavilion The Pavilion at Lane End may be one of many venues licenced for civil partnerhip ceremonies, but you won't find a friendlier venue anywhere. Set in 26 acres of the beautiful Chilterns countryside with a choice of two civil partnership venues, an indoor and an outdoor option, both with spectacular views of the picturesque grounds.

A civil partnership ceremony at one of our venues cost £550 including VAT on a Saturday, or receive a 10% discount for a civil ceremony on a Friday or Sunday.

4 Things to keep in mind when you consider venues for your civil partnership ceremony

Both venues, the Gazebo and the Pavilion, can accommodate up to 130 guests for a civil partnership ceremony.
Civil partnership ceremonies can be conducted any day of the week after 8am and before 6pm.
One of the advantages of having your civil partnership at one of the venues at the Pavilion is that the whole wedding, inlcuding the main reception, accommodation, photos and drinks reception, will be contained at one venue.

Useful Information about Civil Partnerships

Since the 5th December 2005 same-sex couples have the right to enter a civil partnership at one of the venues of their choosing. The Civil Partnership Act 2004 give same-sex couples rights and responsibilities identical to civil marriage.

The local County Council provides information about approved civil partnership venues and will also clarify the process of organising a civil partnership ceremony and of the licensed venues.

It is important to give notice of civil partnership to the register office before booking a venue for your civil partnerhsip. The Pavilion has two dedicated civil partnerhsip venues.

The Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2007 outlaw discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation in the provision of goods and services.
