Lane End Conference Centre

Five large and three medium-sized conference rooms available for hire. Lane End is a purpose-built conference facility outside London offering newly refurbished and fully equipped rooms for conferences of up to 150 delegates in the largest room. In total there are five distinct conference buildings with six conference suites and 104 en-suite bedrooms.

Location: Just off junction 4 on the M40, the venue is set in 26 acres of Buckinghamshire countryside near Marlow and High Wycombe - only 30 minutes from central London and 30 minutes from Heathrow airport.

Self-Contained Conference Suites

Conference Suites: Six self-contained conference suites, each of which is available for exclusive hire and comes complete with one main conference room, a number of break-out rooms and a dedicated admin office.

  • Hall Conference Suite 1: Main conference room, 3 break-out rooms, admin office
  • Hall Conference Suite 2: Main conference room, a medium-sized room, 3 break-out rooms
  • Court Conference Suite 1: Main conference room, 3 break-out rooms, admin office
  • Lodge Conference Suite 1: Main room, a medium room, 4 break-outs, admin facility
  • Quadrangle: One main room, six break-out rooms, admin facility
  • Pavilion: One main room, three break-out rooms

Additionally each suite is located within close proximity of a dining room, bar, coffee lounge and en-suite bedrooms.

Break-Out Rooms

Break-Out Rooms: In addition to the main conference rooms, each of the self-contained conference suites offers a number of break-out rooms. These small meeting rooms can be used as break-out spaces for larger conferences, or they can be hired for small meetings taking place in the Home Counties outside London. 

The small meeting rooms vary in size and can accommodate groups between 5 and 20 delegates. All the break-out rooms are equipped with plasma screens, flipcharts, stationery and FREE Grade A+ Wi-Fi.

1. What are the hire options and what is included?

Conference Room Hire - includes data projector, screen, FREE Wi-Fi, flipcharts and stationery. Lunch and refreshments are quoted for seperately. 

Day Delegate Rate - includes data projector, screen, two flipcharts, stationery, FREE Wi-Fi, three-course buffet lunch, unlimited tea and coffee with scrumptious home bakes.

2. What are the conference room hire rates? 

In total, the venue has five large and three medium-sized conference rooms with a maximum capacity that varies between 30 and 150 delegates in each.

3. What is included in the room hire price?

The hire price of any main conference room for a minimum of 20 delegates includes:

  • Ceiling-mounted data projector, screen, two flipcharts
  • Notepads, pens, name cards
  • Chilled water, cordial and boiled sweets
  • Complementary set-up from 6pm the night before.

4. Does the conference room hire include any syndicates?

No, syndicates can be hired from £200 + VAT per day each.

5. Can I hire syndicates within close proximity of the conference room?

Each of the five distinctive buildings offers at least one self-contained suite with a main conference room and at least three syndicates for hire in each unit. In total, the venue offers eight main conference rooms and 24 syndicates - syndicate rooms are comfortable for up to 12 delegates.

6. For what duration can I hire a conference room?

The main conference room will be available between 8am and 5pm with access for the trainer or facilitator from 7pm the night before the event. These times can be extended subject to availability and supplement charges may apply.

7. What are the available catering options?

The day rate package (£45 - £60 + VAT) includes a three-course buffet lunch and unlimited tea and coffee with freshly baked biscuits and afternoon cakes. 

The room hire price includes only the fully equipped conference room. It is a requirement to book lunch and all-day refreshments. The following lunch options are available:

  • Hot and cold buffet lunch - £23 + VAT
  • Finger buffet lunch - From £15 + VAT
  • Standard fork buffet lunch - £23 + VAT
  • Continental fork buffet - £23 + VAT
  • Three pasta lunch - £23 + VAT
  • Bento box working lunch - £23 + VAT
  • Barbeque lunch - £26 + VAT
  • Unlimited tea, coffee and home bakes - £4.50 + VAT per day

8. Are there any restrictions?

  • It is not possible to hire a conference room on a Wednesday unless it is booked for at least two consecutive days or within two weeks of the event.
  • It is a minimum requirement to book lunch and refreshments if the booking is made on a room hire basis.
  • Conference delegates must be 18 years or over.
  • We do not allow self-catered events under any circumstances.
