Question: Do you allow confetti?
Answer: The Pavilion only allows biodegradable confetti.
Question: Are there any hazards for children?
Answer: The Pavilion is set beside a pond and although it is surrounded by railings we ask that you will ensure that your children are well supervised at all times.
Question: Do you have any games that will occupy children at our wedding?
Answer: Yes, we will set up our croquet set on the lawn in front of The Pavilion. Alternatively, you can hire the services of a mobile crèche who set up in The Marlow room and will keep children entertained all afternoon and evening.
Question: Can I leave my car in the car park over night?
Answer: Yes, but at your own risk. Your car must be removed by midday the following day as we may have another event on and there is a chance that your car could get blocked in by other guests!
Question: Can you recommend somewhere to stay?
Answer: We have 104 en-suite bedrooms on site. Please see our accommodation page.
Question: Can you tell us the telephone number of a local taxi company?
Answer: Please visit our How To Find Us page for information of taxis that can be booked in advance. Alternatively, you can book a taxi at reception during 9am and 10pm on the day of the wedding.
Question: Is The Pavilion wheelchair accessible?
Answer: Yes, The Pavilion wedding venue is a ground floor facility with a wheelchair accessible toilet. The Pavilion is also accessible from the main car park.
Question: Do you have baby changing facilities?
Answer: Yes. They are in the wheelchair accessible toilet which is in the main building.
Question: Do you take credit cards when purchasing drinks at the bar?
Answer: Yes, we accept most major credit and debit cards.
Bride & Groom
Question: Can we supply our own wine and drinks for our wedding?
Answer: You will find an extensive range of wines on our wine list. If there is a particular wine that you would like that you cannot see listed, let us know and we will source this for you.
If you wish to supply your own wine then we will charge a corkage of £11.50 per bottle.
Question: What time should we book the Registrar for our civil ceremony?
Answer: Your wedding day will not be the same as others, but we can advise you and give you examples of wedding day timings to help you to plan your day.
Question: I have never done a seating plan before. Can you help me with this?
Answer: We have some seating plan templates that you can use. These are Microsoft Word documents. Please ask your Wedding Coordinator to email you a template suitable for your room plan.
Question: What size are your tables?
Answer: The top table is usually a 10ft long table seating up to 12 people, but if you prefer the top table can be a round table. All other tables are 5ft round seating 8 and 4 larger tables to seat 10 people.
We also have highchairs available for small children.
Question: Do you have a board to display our table plan?
Answer: Yes, we have an easel and a 25 x 36 inch board available which can be viewed during your site visit. You may want to ask your florist to decorate it with flowers.
Question: Do you provide linen, china, glasses and cutlery?
Answer: We provide white linen for all tables. We provide white bone china, wine glasses and cutlery. If you would like to see our tableware please tell the Wedding Event Planner when you come for your Wedding Planning Meeting.
Question: Can you provide special coloured linen?
Answer: We supply white linen as standard, but we can hire special colours for you at an extra charge. Prices are available on request.
Question: Can I specify how I would like the napkins folded?
Answer: We can offer several styles of napkin folds. We can show you the options that are available so that you can choose what suits your style of table setting.
Question: How many staff will be working at our Wedding?
Answer: There will be a Banqueting Manager and the Wedding Event Planner. In total, we work on average to a ratio of one member of staff to every ten guests dining depending on your wedding day requirements.
Question: Do you allow candles and nightlights?
Answer: Yes
Question: Do you allow confetti?
Answer: We only allow biodegradable confetti.
Question: Can you supply a cake stand for our wedding cake?
Answer: We have a round cake stand of 41cm accross and a square stand. Both cake stands are available for complimentary use when you book your wedding reception to take place at The Pavilion.
Question: Can you provide the stationery for our Wedding Day?
Answer: You will need to produce your own invitations and order of service. We can print three menu cards per table, we can produce an A3 sized seating plan at a cost of £50.00 and place cards at £2.50 each.
