Customer Care Guaranteed at Lane End
Lane End Conference Centre has achieved an overall customer satisfaction
score of 80% through the independent customer surveys managed by the
Business Development Research Consultants Ltd. (BDRC). Our top scores
were the flexibility and responsiveness of our staff at 87%, the friendliness
of our staff at 84% and the meeting and greeting from venue staff at 80%.
We are very proud of the results, which indicate that the staff at Lane End
Conference Centre is one of the most valuable assets and plays a very
important role in the overall satisfaction of our clients.
We use the detailed feedback, provided by the BDRC from their independent customer surveys as well as the
feedback forms which are completed by delegates on site, to bring positive change to our product and service.
Here at Lane End Conference Centre we have a culture of continual improvement and we are committed to
listening to our clients' requirements when we make improvements.

Top 5 Requirements for Conference Rooms

After spending a decade organising conferences and events and selling
conference rooms and facilities, I am confident in recommending the
following as my top 5 requirements when booking conference rooms.
1. Natural Daylight
If you want your delegates to be alert throughout the day and contribute
intelligently then ensure that the conference rooms you choose benefit from
ample natural light. All our rooms have natural daylight and we are in fact
also refurbishing some rooms which will increase the natural light.
2. Air-Conditioning
Stuffy conference rooms breed tiredness. That is why we help combat poor
contribution by ensuring all our conference rooms are fully air-conditioned.
3. Spacious Rooms
Avoid over crowding and ensure your delegates have enough space to
move and breathe. Lack of space reduces ventilation and ultimately
causes tiredness.
4. Equipment
Dedicated conference rooms should come equipped with data projectors,
screens and flip charts. We include the equipment in the delegate rates,
so that you do not have to deal with any hidden costs.
5. Proximity
At Lane End Conference Centre the main conference rooms are in very
close proximity to the syndicate rooms and business centre. In fact, each
unit is completely self contained and it also comes with its own dedicated
bar, lounge, dining room and bedrooms. No one wants to waste precious
time negotiating their way through endless corridors or traipsing halfway
across the venue to enjoy a coffee break.
The above requirements are crucial to the success of every conference, training course or event. Here at Lane
End Conference Centre the above points are the standard for all our facilities, we believe that this will contribute
to the productivity of your attendees and ultimately improve your return on investment.

Hot Topic: Are interactive whiteboards the way forward, or not?
As most of you may already know we are refurbishing our Wycombe Hall
Conference Rooms to allow for higher ceilings, much more natural daylight,
fresh walls and state of the art equipment. Our aim is to provide space that
is functional and free from clutter and unnecessary accessories.
We have looked into the option to provide interactive whiteboards and our
research shows that most venues offering this facility have found that in
practise it is rarely required. We have therefore decided to provide the
standard screen and data projector along with additional plasma screens on
either side of the room. We also provide a computer, complete with USB
drive, which means that the trainer can simply insert their external drive to
access their presentation, but we are now asking for your vote on this topic.
The question is: Would you use an interactive whiteboard if it was available? Please tell us by clicking here.
The Cabin is open for business.
In last month's newsletter we told you about the latest addition to Lane
End Conference Centre: The Cabin Bar, Lounge and Games Room. It is
now a month later and the project has not only been completed but we
have already served over 150 plates of light meals and delicious snacks.
The Cabin have already become a popular space amongst delegates and
trainers alike. For pictures and further details visit The Cabin online. |
