Football World Cup 2010
With the football world cup promising to be the main sporting event next summer, and with many of our delegates being diehard footie fans, we’ve realised that we cannot let them down. Therefore we have installed a 72 inch screen in The Cabin on which we will show all the football matches and other sporting events. |
| |
|
So, if you really want to impress your colleagues next summer, book your conferences, training and business meetings with us at Lane End Conference Centre.

Social networking
When the social networking trend took the world by storm we were definitely not going to be left behind, so the natural step was to sign up and get started. |
You may be pleased to hear that you can now find us on your favourite networking sites. Join us on Facebook for updates about new events and photos of refurbishments and the site in general; follow us on Twitter where we comment on industry trends, give helpful tips and share news updates; and last but not least check out our very own blog where our monthly posts will cover case studies about events at Lane End Conference Centre. |

Environmental Policy Statement
Here at Lane End Conference Centre we acknowledge that the day to day running of our venue will inevitably have an impact on the environment both locally and globally. However, we are committed to minimising, wherever practical, this impact. |
| |
We recognise that, as well as our team and our clients, our supplies and also their suppliers need to also play a large part in this. Therefore the Directors and the management team at our residential conference centre have issued an Environmental Policy Statement, which we are committed to follow through.

We’ve improved our terms of business
We have already informed you about our improved cancellation terms and now we want to tell you that we will be honouring those reduced terms throughout 2010 and 2011. |
With lead times getting shorter and shorter we understand just how difficult it is to confirm final numbers up to 16 weeks before the event, which is why we have reduced our cancellation terms by nearly half of the original terms.
At Lane End Conference Centre we want to contribute to the success of our clients and their events, whether it is a training course, team building or an annual meeting, and we believe that by being more flexible with our cancellation terms we will do just that.

Christmas is in sight
The Christmas season is in full swing here at Lane End Conference Centre, with Christmas lights flickering away on all the trees and final preparations being made for this year’s Christmas parties. |
After the success of our Christmas launch party in July we are really looking forward to this year’s Christmas season. We have had a great uptake and our Vintage Hollywood Christmas Experience is set to be a festive series of parties.
We have only a few places left on some of the nights, so if you have not booked a party for your office (or your friends), then click here to read more about our Christmas offer. |
