Here at Lane End we are absolutely dedicated to providing top quality meeting facilities for multi-day residential conferences – but what happens when a business wants a room for just a day or a few hours?
No problem! We have just launched a brand new luxury meeting venue – The Boardroom – designed specifically for smaller and shorter events.
It is equipped with a custom-made oak boardroom table plus 14 leather executive chairs, multi-functional lighting and a 72-inch plasma screen.
We have created The Boardroom for meetings for up to 14 delegates.
It is situated in a private area away from our five main conference suites – guaranteeing private and distraction-free meetings for everyone.
The Boardroom is a very flexible and versatile business meeting venue – perfect for executive board meetings, cocktail receptions, gala dinners and fine dining alfresco on the terrace.
And although it was originally envisaged for one-day events, there is plenty of accommodation in the building as well – a benefit for delegates who have to travel longer distances.
Lane End Sales and Marketing Manager Heni Fourie said: “Previously, day meetings were harder to accommodate because Lane End is a residential conference centre that was designed primarily for multi-day events in self-contained suites.
“However, we have seen increasing demand from local companies for small and medium-sized day meetings so The Boardroom is a welcome addition to our already extensive facilities.”
