Lights, Camera, Action! Lane End Conference Centre Hosts Jessops Christmas Event
Renowned camera retailer Jessops held its annual Christmas Conference at Lane End Conference Centre in November.
The company, which famously went into administration earlier this year after accruing debts of £81m, was successfully re-launched by Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones two months later.
Since then the Jessops brand has gone from strength-to-strength and is expected to turn a profit in their first year under new ownership.
It’s certainly been a productive year for Jessops and the company brought together 50 of its members at Lane End Conference Centre, Buckinghamshire.
The aim of the event was to discuss future business plans and ensure employees stay at their top of their game by getting hands-on with latest camera equipment.
One of the largest purpose-built conference venues in the UK, Lane End’s location and facilities were well matched to Jessops’ needs.
“It was a pleasure to welcome members of the Jessops team,” said Heni Fourie, Sales and Marketing Manager at the specialist conference centre.

“As well as close to their Head Office in Marlow, Lane End is easily accessibly via motorway and rail networks so was easy to find for guests travelling further afield.
“We were also able to accommodate those who needed to stay over with executive bedrooms.”
During the day Lane End’s self-contained Wycombe Hall and Wycombe Court buildings provided the ideal space for Jessops to discuss business and meet with suppliers.
Whilst in the evening Lane End’s large Pavilion room - which can accommodate up to 150 for dinner - provided a stunning backdrop for the group Gala dinner. Feast your eyes on our exclusive Gala menu here [link to Gala menu].
Of course no Jessops special event would be complete without Peter Jones and the team were thrilled when he made a surprise visit – it seems this Dragon is most definitely in!
