Just a quick note to say thanks for the B&B rate for Jen/John on Saturday night & arranging the pub dinner. They had a great time & it's much appreciated.
Martin made our stay extra special, his warm welcome and his amazing breakfasts could not be beaten. The grounds are stunning, rooms small but well fitted with a balcony too, complimentary tea and coffee all day and soft drinks available all day too aswell as a fully stocked vending machine. Truly outstanding place, peaceful and relaxing. There is a beautiful pub in the village just a short walk away. Will definitely return.
Very quiet - good for me but not for business Nice setting Plenty of parking Good quality and empty gym Great value for money Games room with snooker table Free coffee machine Good breakfast Good coffee Good staff - Martin especially Balcony in room Air conditioning in room Very small room/ bathroom Sauna closed due to Covid
The venue is easy access from London and everything in the Chilterns is close by. The staff was fabulous and very helpful before, during and at the end of our stay. Check in and check out was swift and smooth. The club house annexe with table tennis is great and the view is fantastic. Due to the pandemic it was really quiet and we enjoyed having the snooker table to ourselves. We really enjoyed the cooked breakfast as well and would be happy to come back especially if we could have a room without a neighbouring room. The rooms could be just a little bit bigger and brighter and the coffee machine could be replaced with a better one. The walls in the room are paper thin and the second night we had guests in the room next to ours and we could hear EVERYTHING they were doing and saying - which is not great at 6:45am on a Sunday.
Thank you to you and all your team. It all went very well.
The breakfast was lovely and at a time we requested The wood at the back of the bed, ( hurts if you bang your head), could be softer
