Lane End Nominated For Buckinghamshire Business Award
Lane End Conference Centre has been named as a finalist in the upcoming Buckinghamshire Business Awards.
One of three companies recognised for Excellence in Customer Service, the winner will be announced at a glitzy award ceremony taking place on Wednesday 9th October.
Since their inaugural event in 2016 the BBA’s have grown in significance and prestige alike. Designed to shine a light on work ethic and entrepreneurial vision, the awards’ motto is ‘nobody does business like Buckinghamshire’.
Keeping with tradition, this year’s presentation will be held at The Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
Applicants were first whittled down to a long list before judges visited the premises of all those shortlisted over the course of several months.
After much consideration the eventual finalists were chosen by a judging panel and announced on July 25th.
Lane End’s nomination is further recognition of outstanding customer service and the latest in a long line of accolades.
Having gained VenueVerdict Gold Accreditation in January 2018 the conference centre went on to receive outstanding results from its own year-long customer feedback survey.
To mark its 50th year meanwhile the site was fittingly shortlisted for the ‘Best Conference Venue – under 650 Theatre Style’ at the recent Conference Awards in London.
A purpose-built residential conference centre encompassing five separate buildings, along with overnight accommodation, teambuilding activities and leisure facilities, it also benefits from being just a short drive from London Heathrow Airport.
Its dedicated team have ensured Lane End have earned a reputation for being the perfect place in which to stage training or corporate events.
Now that same team are in line for a coveted prize, much to the delight of Director of Sales & Marketing Heni Fourie.

Lane End will go up against Fitlife Health Club and Spotless Garments for the Excellence in Customer Service crown which was won by Bluebird Care in 2018.
