Lane End - Providing Something Quite Different
Choosing a venue to host your next conference or event, especially over a number of days, can be a difficult decision. Cost, location, catering and the spaces themselves play a huge part in the decision making process but often it can be the little unique touches that win the business.
That is something we have done successfully in the past here at Lane End. We are proud not to be just an ‘everyday run-of-the-mill conference and training venue’ – we try to be different and that has meant repeat business as well as a trusted name within the meetings and events industry.
One of our unique differences to other venues is that we can truly be a home from home for delegates. The completion of the Cedar Club in late 2015 gives delegates the opportunity to use the gym, sauna and the use of the bar for evenings. It’s a great place to network, socialise and relax after a day of business and conferences. Add to that the use of pool tables and virtual golf – you have a pretty different setting to keep your delegates happy especially over the course of a few days.
Away from conferences and business, we’re also able to provide something a little different for those seeking a successful teambuilding event. We offer plenty of different activities such as chocolate making, volleyball, football and even ‘It’s A Knockout’ – but we’re willing to bet FootGolf is something you’d never even considered?! It’s a growing sport around the globe and Lane End is just one of a very few venues across the UK to offer a 9-hole course.
Catering is something we’re very proud of too. When it comes to offering something different we believe that homemade food is something an event organiser truly loves. It shows a real care and focus for the delegates and it is something we have done successfully over the past few years.
These are just a handful of things we do differently to give our clients that little something extra and it’s something we will continue to do. We like to stand out from the rest of a crowded market and unique offerings can often be the difference between winning business and losing out.
