Lane End Conference Centre Nominated For Two M&IT Awards
Lane End Conference Centre has been nominated for two M&IT Awards: Best UK Conference Centre and Best UK Management Training Centre.
It is the second year running that Buckinghamshire-based Lane End has been named in the awards, the longest-running of their kind in the meetings industry.
The M&IT Awards winners will be announced on March 19 at a gala dinner during the International Confex exhibition.
BBC TV presenter Kate Silverton will return as mistress of ceremonies at the black tie dinner which will be held at Battersea Evolution. More than 700 people are expected to attend.
Award finalists are chosen based on the votes of the readers of Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine. The votes are audited and verified by the independent Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC).
The award nominations are a coup for Lane End because it is the second consecutive year it has been chosen as a finalist in the Best UK Conference Centre category.

Lane End has also just been awarded Gold Standard Accreditation from BDRC Continental for customer satisfaction.
BDRC Continental is an award-winning full service research consultancy that uses advanced analytics and at least two decades of experience to help leading service sector brands across the globe.
Its VenueVerdict programme featured around 400 participating hotels, conference centres and other meeting venues in the UK and Ireland. The results were based on more than 27,500 individual pieces of feedback.
Residential conference centre Lane End has a high customer retention rate with 87 per cent of customers who booked in 2011 returning to the UK conference venue in 2012.
Mr Fourie said: “We believe that our high retention rate can be attributed to the high levels of customer service that our customers experience at Lane End.”
