Why We Are Deemed A Permitted Venue
The safety and wellbeing of all our guests, employees and suppliers still remains our number one priority. We would, therefore, like to offer the reassurance that we are open and operating as a permitted venue, fully complying with Government regulations.
Before the worldwide lockdown, 90% of meetings and conferences at Lane End were for groups between 10 and 30 people.
Lane End offers five large meeting rooms, 4 of which can accommodate groups between 18 and 48 guests and only one meeting room can accommodate groups of up to 150 guests in a theatre style.
It was therefore effortless for us to adapt our policies and restrict meetings and training events to groups with a maximum of 30 guests. The size of our large meeting rooms allows for almost double capacity, which enabled us to put firm social distancing measures in place, demonstrating that we are following the Government’s guidance with regards to COVID-19.
Lane End benefits from 111 en-suite bedrooms for sole occupancy, and we can offer bedrooms to transient visitors on a bedroom only basis. We operate strict social distancing measures with no access to bar or dining facilities for guests staying on a bed-only basis, but we do have a takeaway continental breakfast available on request.
Furthermore, Lane End has been awarded the applicable accreditation by VisitBritain as well as the MIA. The venue benefits from a modular design, providing private and self-contained buildings for one client group at a time, ultimately minimising the risk of crossing paths with people outside your group.
Many organisations have to meet with colleagues, as part of their H&S, risk assessments, on-boarding and operational requirements as businesses have staff now returning to work where working from home is not possible. Lane End is ideal for key worker sectors, as well as companies with a requirement to fulfil training requirements within in a safe working environment.
